Districts: How do I get Started?

Districts can be a critical support system for environmental literacy.  School districts can partner with a vast support network to develop and evaluate new programs for teacher professional development and capacity building in environmental education.  They could also support new policy approaches for incorporating environmental education into the curriculum and the evaluation of the effectiveness of environmental education in improving student achievement.
