Children will learn about the various bats that call Eldorado Canyon home, hear a story about one very special bat, and make a bat mask of their own to take home. Participants will also play games and receive a treat bag to bring home. Space is limited so make sure to call the park to reserve your spot. Attention children ages 6-12: Come face your fear of snakes! Discover the truth behind the deceptive legends of snakes and uncover their secret world in Eldorado Canyon State Park on Friday, October 13th from 4:30 6:00pm. Many people are afraid of snakes yet most of these worries are based on misconceptions regarding their behavior. Fight these misunderstandings between people and snakes at this fun-filled, action-packed Halloween celebration, which also includes meeting a live snake, games, crafts, and treat bags to bring home. Refreshments are provided and costumes are welcome! Space is limited so make sure to call the park to reserve your spot. Program is free with $5.00 entrance pass or displaying current Annual Pass.
