The Carson Nature Center

The Carson Nature Center provides the public with an opportunity to learn about riparian ecosystems and their inhabitants, the South Platte Flood of 1965, and wildlife in South Platte Park. We also have a river table where children (and adults!) can watch erosion in action! Please call the center if you would like to visit with a group. The Nature Center is open to the public Tues-Fri noon-4:30 and 9:30-4:30 on weekends. The Nature Center is free, but there is a fee if you wish to rent the river table for group use.
