EE Research Happy Hour (Virtual or In-person)

Registration is closed for this event

Are you interested in learning more about the latest research in EE?  Would you like to discuss how to move these new ideas from research into your practice?

CAEE is convening both an online and in-person discussion group to share ideas and perspectives from the 11th EE Research Bulletin, which was recently released by the collaborative efforts of ChangeScale, NAAEE (ee360), and Dr. Nicole Ardoin at Stanford University.

Talented environmental educators are conducting fantastic programs, collaborating with communities, using hands-on strategies, and making critical links that help enhance environmental awareness, build skills, and support informed action. Yet many of us lack the time to keep up on the latest research, which may provide insight into how to improve the effectiveness of their work. The goal for the Research Bulletins is to help bridge the research-and-practice gap by summarizing recently reported research and to help practitioners use the results to enhance their programs.

This issue includes synopses of peer-reviewed journal articles published between January and June 2016 on a range of topics including:

  • Equity, Inclusion & Cultural Relevance
  • Behavior
  • Evaluation
  • Teaching Methods
  • Sense of Place & Nature Connection
  • Professional Development
  • Other Research

Read through the Bulletin and then join us and other colleagues in a rich conversation on how educators can apply recent research findings to improve practice!
