Guidelines for Excellence Training

Do you do training with educators? Are you looking for new ways to share best practices for how to create inclusive environments that support partnerships and collaborations? 

We invite you to become a part of the Guidelines for Excellence in Environmental Education Trainer’s Bureau. Through a series of three trainings, participants will be prepared to facilitate workshops focusing on the guidelines. 

Cost: $40 CAEE Member/$60 Non-Member

Session 1: August 16th 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. Webinar

Join us for an overview of the Guidelines for Excellence in Environmental Education with Bora Simmons, National Director.

Session 2:
 August 23rd 9:30 - 3:00p.m. at the Lookout Mountain Nature Center in Golden

Through a series of hands-on activities, participants will identify key characteristics of high quality community engagement. This workshop will focus on how to apply the Community Engagement: Guidelines for Excellence to organizational and program work and methods to share the Guidelines with colleagues, staff, training participants, etc. Participants will receive a copy of the Community Engagement Guidelines. Lunch Provided.

Session 3: August 30th 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. Webinar
